Using the Cargosnap platform

The Cargosnap platform allows you to (re)view, share, or enhance your files and photos with additional data. Photos are uploaded in real-time to the platform.

View Files

Photos, documents, data-entry forms, and videos are associated with a specific reference - your file. Clicking on 'Files' on the top menu bar reveals a view displaying a timeline of all your files, along with their basic data and contents (Fields).

Click on the reference to enter your file and view all data gathered within this reference. When clicking on the 3 dots at the right, you can:

  • Edit reference: Manually adjust the reference (name) of the file

  • Upload: Add attachments to the file by uploading data from your PC to the existing file.

  • Submit forms: If you want to manually fill out a form from the PC and add it to the file (Your role needs to have a permission to do that. Read more about roles and permissions here.)

  • Download: This enables you to create a ZIP download of the photos and scans of the file. Note: Forms will not be downloaded.

  • Add field: You can see Fields like 'tags' or 'labels' to enrich your file, such as data that will give it some structure or secondary references to search on, like the name of a customer, the status of a file, etc. (Read more about Fields here.)

  • History: you can trace back the actions that happened within the file.

  • Create new issue: In case you find something odd on your file while reviewing it, you can create an issue to have more people involved to act on it, and follow up with it on the Issues page. Issues can be opened and then closed when it's solved. (Read more about Issues here.)

  • Close/re-open files: This option enabled you to close and re-open files. If you do not see this option in the list, this means you do not have the permission to close files. Go to "Permissions" under "Company settings", or ask an Admin user to adjust this for you.

  • Delete file: this will delete the file and all its records.

View Photos

You can filter and sort the photos within a file easily when you click into a file, and decide to view the photos in either list or grid view.

On our platform, the photos you take are always available in the highest resolution! When you click on the photo itself, you can zoom in on details of the photo.

Here is a photo in its "list view". In its lower right corner, clicking the 'edit' icon allows you to adjust or edit comments or damages.

Clicking "Advanced" shows you the options for deleting the snap. 

☝️ If you do not see the option to delete the upload, that means the user role you have does not have the permission to do so. Ask an Admin user to delete the upload for you, or to adjust the permissions.

In addition to viewing the photo, our platform offers convenient options for managing and sharing. You have the flexibility to download the photo using the designated download icon. Furthermore, when you decide to share the file, you can seamlessly include or exclude the photo from the upload by utilizing the intuitive icon located on the right. This feature empowers you to tailor the shared content to your specific needs, ensuring a customized and efficient sharing experience.
