Adding Actions to your workflow

Add an action to run once your workflow is performed and uploaded, like automatically send an e-mail with your inspection result.

Updated over a week ago

The “Actions” feature allows you to add specific actions to your workflow settings, making your workflow more efficient and streamlined.

This feature is available for all your existing workflows and can be accessed by clicking the “Edit” option in the workflow menu.

By scrolling down, you'll see the Actions settings:

You can also set this feature for the next workflows you'll be creating, just make sure you save it first!

Now that you're all set, you can add up to 5 actions to each of your existing workflows. These actions can be customized to fit your specific needs and greatly enhance your workflow's functionality.

Current available Actions

Send an e-mail

By adding this action, you'll set the e-mail addresses of a user in Cargosnap to receive, directly in their inbox, an immediate notification to check the result of your workflow after it's finished from the app. To view the result, the Cargosnap platform user must have permission to the team where the file is located.

Share with a Contact List

This workflow will be performed under a specific reference. This action will share the entire file under that reference to a pre-determined Contact List (usually external e-mails). To know more about Contact Lists, read here.

Close the file after the workflow has been finished

A closed file is a finished record of your inspection/operation. If this is a workflow that concludes your work and, so this action will automatically close a file for you. To know more about Closing a File, read here.

Create an issue

Perhaps this is a workflow specifically to report damage, or report that something isn't as it should be in your operation. This action will automatically create an Issue on the platform. Whenever this workflow is performed, a new issue will be created with a default name set when you add this action. To know more about Issues Management, read here.

⚠️ In order to add actions to a workflow, you need to have a SuperAdmin or LicenseAdmin role.
