How to add comments and damage to an existing snap

If something was missed during the operation, or you forgot to mention a thing or two while taking a photo, you can easily add it later on!

Updated over a week ago

When you're using our Cargosnap app, adding snaps is easy; if you're using the 'Snap' widget, you can add a comment and select a damage type as you're doing your inspections; if you're using the 'Serial snapper' widget, you can't add the comments to each photo right away, but you can mark a damage type to every photo you take by selecting damage from the drop-down list in the right upper corner of your device screen.

If you prefer to upload photos manually, you can still add snaps via the platform, as we mention in the 'How to add information to an existing file' article.

But, what about when your snap is already a part of your file, and you want to add/edit a comment or a damage type? You can also do it from the platform!

💡 Keep it in mind: use the app to collect your data,

use the platform to consult, manage, and share your data!

Add and/or edit comments and damage to a snap

Once you're done, click 'save' and your photo will be updated with the new snap. It's that easy! 🫡
