Disable 'Power Optimization' on Android

Power settings save your battery, excellent. But they can also do harm. For example, it may "decide" it's better CargoSnap does not upload all the images... Well. Not so nice. Let's fix that...

Note the following section is based on a common Android device (Samsung), but some manufacturers create alternative settings, doing the same. Does the below not get you where you need to be? Check out this (similar) article, outlining this option for a bunch of other manufacturers (but for a different app; just search for CargoSnap when selecting the app).

  • Open Settings:

  • Click “Apps”, and then click the “menu” section in the right upper corner:

  • And then, select “Special Access”

  • Then, “Optimize battery usage”:

  • Ensure the filter is set to “All” and find CargoSnap in your list:

  • Switch the app OFF:

Done! This should disable the feature that will sometimes stop your CargoSnap uploads.
