☝️ Admins can set on the Permissions page which roles are allowed to edit and/or delete snaps and forms. Read more in this article.
Deleting a snap or a form is quite easy! If your role is allowed to do so, you'll find on the right bottom corner to each data a 'bin icon' to delete it, like this:
This action is not revertible on the platform. However, before deleting your data, you will see a pop-up message to confirm your action:
💡 Note: It's not possible to delete photos from the mobile app
Once a 'snap' or 'serial snap' is taken and send to a file in the platform, it's not longer possible - while using the mobile app - to delete any photos that are stored in the file.

It's a one-way direction that ensures 'realtime visibility' for platform users, without the 'risk' that operators eventually change the photo series.

It would drastically bring up the inspection time if all operators were constantly evaluating the (sometimes tens of) pictures taken in a workflow step.
- Besides this it would highly depend operators to have a strong internet connection in case they need to be able to delete, restore and manage files from a distance.
However, when a single snap is taken, you can still delete the preview before sending it to the platform. Note: This is not possible with the serial snap functionality.
