Support: "Export Data" function
You logged a complex case the Cargosnap team wants to get to the bottom of. Now they ask you to "Export data". How does that work?
⚠️ The "Export Data" will only be available in case the technical team judges it necessary, depending on the complexity of each case.
When Cargosnap support asks you to 'Export Data' from your device, they are interested in collecting detailed information from your phone. The technical team will add an option to your menu, which should automatically appear upon an app restart:
Please press this button. It will open the following dialogue:
Press "Close" on this and minimize the Cargosnap app. On your phone, look for the 'My Files' app, where you can open the Downloads folder. In there, you will find a new file with the name "cs-export" followed by a number.
Click and hold this file, which will open a sharing dialogue, like this:
Click the Share option and select how you want to share (e.g. with email or a file transfer tool at your disposal).
Bear in mind that this file contains only information that also would/should get to the Cargosnap platform. So it may contain your snaps, forms, and fields. No personal data is collected for the purpose of this file.
☝️ Note: if your phone contains a large number of failing uploads, this file may become really large. In that case, please ask your Cargosnap support contact for a means of getting the file uploaded.
