How Cargosnap Works Online and Offline
Cargosnap is moving to an online-first mobile experience with offline fallback. The information below explains what this means for app functionality and performance.
An online first approach
Our mobile app is evolving to meet modern operational expectations. Customers expect fast, connected workflows with real-time collaboration, while still being able to rely on the app in environments with poor or no reception.
Cargosnap is therefore moving to an online-first approach: designed for seamless connected experiences, with dependable offline fallback when connectivity drops.
An online first approach gives users the best of both worlds — smarter functionality when online, and trusted continuity when offline.
Feature Availability When Online vs. Offline
This also means that certain features are designed to work best — or only — with an active internet connection, and performance may be limited in offline or low-connectivity environments. While we build for resilience and continuity, functionality ultimately depends on factors such as network availability, device conditions, and local infrastructure that may be outside of Cargosnap’s control.
For the best experience, use a stable internet connection
It can happen that when you're device is connected to the WiFi or mobile data, the connection is not stable at the moment for uploading to the web platform. This can cause a delay in uploads.
As soon as the connection is stable again, or you switch to mobile data, you should see the uploads coming through.
In other words, a stable internet connection keeps teams connected in real time.
