Define the subject line of your sharing emails

In this article we explain how you can easily set your default email subject line of your sharing emails.

When you share a Cargosnap file, the recipient will receive an email message making them aware of the file you are sharing. This message will have a default email subject:

John Doe has shared a CargoSnap with you: 123456

This may cover the matter, but there may be more (relevant) information for the recipient you want to make them aware of. 

You can set the default subject line as an Admin (LicenseAdmin or SuperAdmin). Do so by going to your "Teams" page, select the Team for which you want to set the default subject, and then open the "Default sharing settings".

Create your own email subject

In the subject, you can now enter the text you would like to appear in the share subject line. This subject line will be presented to all users in your team when they create a share (and can be manually overridden), and will also be used should you generate a share using an API.
